You summon a level 1 or lower tamed fiend of your choice in an unoccupied space you can see within range. If you create a circle on a surface using the material component during the casting of this spell, the material is consumed, and the summoned fiend can't cross the circle or harm it, and it can't target anyone within it. While concentrating on the spell, the fiend makes a Charisma saving throw at the end of each of your turns. If you speak its true name when you cast this spell, the fiend has disadvantage on the saving throw. On a successful save or when the spell ends, the summoned condition ends.
Upcasting: For each spell slot above 2, the level of the summoned fiend can be of a one level higher, or you can summon one additional fiend of the same level.
