You gain proficiency with the tinkering kit, which you can use as an arcane focus, and you learn the mending cantrip as a wizard spell.
You can take the Magic action, expend X mana points, and choose one of the Infusion options from those available to the artificer class, treating your wizard level as half the artificer level when you choose an option that has an artificer level as prerequisite. An artifact created through this feature becomes a mundane item if you create past the maximum number, which is your Intelligence modifier, or if you die.
You can take the Magic action for 1 hour to cause your Shield Guardian and its Guardian Amulet to appear in an unoccupied space of your choice within 30 feet of you. The Shield Guardian is considered tamed by you.
The Shield Guardian disappears if you take an action to dismiss it, if you use this feature again, if it is reduced to 0 hit points, or if you die, dropping anything it was carrying in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of it.
While you and your Shield Guardian are within 30 feet of each other, you and your Shield Guardian have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magic effects that you can see or hear, provided neither of you are blinded, deafened, and incapacitated.
The spell save DC for your wizard spells increase by 1 for each two artifact you are attuned to.
