You gain one

ACID SPIT

You can take the Magic action to cause a target that you can see within 30 feet of you to make on a Dexterity saving throw against your Constitution DC. On a failed save, the target takes 1d6 acid damage. The acid damage increases by 1d6 at levels 4 (2d6), 8 (3d6), 12 (4d6), 16 (5d6), and 19 (6d6).

CARAPACE

You gain a +1 bonus to AC, provided you don't have heavy armor equipped.

DARKVISION

You gain darkvision (60 feet).

GRAPPLING APPENDAGE

Choose one of the following: claws (1d6 slashing) or tentacles (1d6 bludgeoning). You can use the chosen option for your unarmed attacks with a reach one size larger.

MANTA GLIDE

You gain a gliding speed (100 feet). Moreover, you can take two actions to gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed until the end of the turn.

NIMBLE CLIMBER

You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.

SHEATHING

You can take an action to gain temporary hit points equal to your mastery bonus.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

UNDERWATER ADAPTATION

You can breathe air and water, and you have a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.

You gain one trait from another race, and again at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20.
