The spell can penetrate any object, structure, or up to three-quarters cover, except 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of metal, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.

The spell's range increases by 5 feet when you at level 5 (20 feet), 11 (25 feet), and 17 (30 feet).
