When you create an accurate chronicle, you can add a number of the landmarks contained within the area (if any) equal to your choice of your Intelligence or Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1) to the chronicle, each of which the type depends on your Survey results total.
An area can contain one or more of the following landmarks:
An anomaly can be a ley line, a magical effect, or a portal.
A hazard can be hostile creatures, or quicksand, sinkholes, traps, or other environmental dangers.
A milestone can be an natural feature of the area, such as an unusually large boulder, crater, or tree, or it can be an artificial feature, such as ancient structures, dungeons, ruins, or settlements. Alternatively, you can add an area that is suitable for creating a stronghold.
A folklore can be history, a legend, a myth, or a story related to the area.
A passage can be an entrance to a cavern, a road, a shortcut, or a hidden place within the area.
You can add information about one or more of an area's peoples to the chronicle, such as factions or other inhabitants of the area.
A resource can be the fauna, flora, minerals, bodies of water, or other natural materials and resources found in the area.
A weather landmark can be local weather patterns, seasonal changes, or environmental effects.
